To convey Japanese culture and hospitality through sushi.
From a young age, he accompanied his father on fish-buying trips, learning how to select the best fish, and he began handling knives while still a student.
After graduating from Keio University's Faculty of Commerce, he spent four years as a professional ski guide in Europe and North America to study foreign cultures and hospitality. He guided affluent clients at over 100 ski resorts worldwide, on luxury world cruises, and on European winery tours. He also enjoys traveling independently, having visited 50 countries. Utilizing the cross-cultural communication skills he cultivated through his studies at Stanford University and his work as a ski guide, he is now dedicated to promoting sushi culture to the world.
